About the beach
Praia da Guarita is one of the 23 kilometers of public beaches of the city of Torres, in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul. It is part of the "Parque da Guarita" environmental protection area. The rock towers ("torres" in Portuguese) around the beach gave the city its name.
